Allergy Supervision for Professionals

Allergy supervision for infant feeding professionals, working with complex allergy cases

Who is the supervision for?

If you are an infant feeding professional, we can offer both email and virtual supervision with Kaya, our IBCLC Allergy Specialist, to expand your knowledge when working with allergy families, and to help you unpick complex cases.

Kaya is available to share her practiced knowledge and skills, helping you to build on your allergy awareness and support your caseload to the best of your ability

Who provides the supervision?

Supervision sessions are with Kaya, our IBCLC Allergy Specialist here at The Milk Hub.

She has been supporting parents to feed their babies for 10 years, and as well as being an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she has specialised in supporting families who are managing allergies as part of their feeding journey.  She is one of a handful of IBCLC’s in the country who offer a specialism in allergy support.

Kaya is also an ‘allergy parent’ herself, with lived experience of battling for support and managing her youngest daughter’s 14 allergies, three of which are anaphylactic.

You can hear Kaya talk more about her passion for working with families with allergies on the wonderful Emma Pickett’s podcast Makes Milk here, and hit the ‘breastfeeding and allergies’ episode.  You can also read more about Kaya in her bio on our about’ page.
